American English is the new Esperanto.

The only problem is that some people from Non English speaking countries learn English through the internet and many times they think they are US experts and they don't quite get American culture. Some things you just cannot learn online, you have to actually live in the US to fully understand its culture.

English 'baby'.
German 'Baby'.

Finno-Ugric languages.
Estonian ‘beebi’ – baby.
Finnish ‘vauva’ – baby.
Hungarian ‘baba’ – baby.

Latin languages.
French ‘bébé’.
Spanish ‘bebé’.
Portuguese ‘bebê’.

Celtic languages.
Welsh ‘babi’ – baby.
Irish ‘babaí’ – baby.
Scottish Gaelic ‘baban’ – baby.

Indo-Aryan languages.

Gujarati બેબ (bēba) – baby.
Marathi बेबे (bēbē) – child, baby.

Irish word ‘babaí’ is no different from Udmurt word «бебей» (babai) – a baby. Why? The Udmurts are Finno-Ugrians. Do you know where they live?

Being Black/African American myself, I just refuse to have someone outside of my culture attempt to tell me about it. I didn't have to study it, I live it every day of my life.

Please, continue to tell me (a Black American man) about my culture. I could use the amusement.
