A Hawaiian lady has pretty long name:
Janice “Lokelani” Keihanaikukauakahihuliheekahaunaele, but I don't think long names are very common.

Fun fact: she doesn’t exactly have the longest name ever, as that title goes to Adolph Blaine Charles David Earl Frederick Gerald Hubert Irvin John Kenneth Lloyd Martin Nero Oliver Paul Quincy Randolph Sherman Thomas Uncas Victor William Xerxes Yancy Zeus Wolfe*schlegelstein*hausenberger*dorffvoraltern*wa ren*gewissenhaft*schaferswessen*schafewaren*wohlge pflege*und*sorgfaltigkeit*beschutzen*von*angreifen *durch*ihrraubgierigfeinde*welche*voraltern*zwolft ausend*jahres*vorandieerscheinen*wander*ersteer*de m*enschderraumschiff*gebrauchlicht*als*sein*urspru ng*von*kraftgestart*sein*lange*fahrt*hinzwischen*s ternartigraum*auf*der*suchenach*diestern*welche*ge habt*bewohnbar*planeten*kreise*drehen*sich*und*woh in*der*neurasse*von*verstandigmen*schlichkeit*konn te*fortplanzen*und*sicher*freuen*anlebens*langlich *freude*und*ruhe*mit*nicht*ein*furcht*vor*angreife n*von*anderer*intelligent*geschopfs*von*hinzwische n*sternartigraum, Senior.
He goes by Hubert Blaine Wolfe+585, Sr., as there are 585 characters after “Wolfe” in his last name. He died back in the 1985.

Hubert's given name is made up from 26 names, each starting with a different letter of the alphabet in consecutive order; these are followed by an enormously long single-word surname.
I separated single words that made his name so long, with *

His son: Hubert Blaine Wolfeschlegelsteinhausenbergerdorff, Jr., was born in Philadelphia in 1952, and was able to pronounce his surname by age three.

Sri Lanka. Do you mean the average name length, or is this a contest to see who can find the longest name online? In Russian, the patronymic is very often and widely used, so names in general usage tend to be very long. Although, on the other hand, first two initials are very often used to shorten them.

I think the shortest names might be Burmese,, but Viet Nam is right in there, along with Korea and China. My Vietnamese doctor has a 2-letter surname.

In Spanish speaking counties, as well as many others, your name is as long as your pedigree.

English names are too long LOL
Most (over 90%) Chinese full names have 2~3 syllables only (1~2 syllables for given name and 1 syllable for family name).

Thailand. Thailand has a really weird naming system which usually requires that one have an 18 consonant given name.

Many people from Latin America have double first names and double last names which makes their full name longer.
