According to booking.com

I'd have to say that it certainly lives up to expectations.

Rule number 1 of city data, is never say anything contrary to stereotypes. All the food in Australia is rubbish, and we have nothing but starbucks.

Still I think Melbourne is overrated in that regard.

It's pretty good, and I haven't even been to the best places.

While we are basking in three post of glory before the Tirade, maybe a trip to Canberra should be on the cards for Coffee lovers?

Does everybody believe everything they read in the tabloid puff pieces? Out of a sample of 1,000 booking.com tourists, how many can really tell the difference in a blindfold test between the coffee in the most trendy hoity-toity cafe in Melbourne and the coffee at McDonalds on the exit ramp in Paducah?

Is this the same survey that says Taipei also has one of the best coffee scenes in the entire world?

You wouldn't say that if you'd had a coffee on the exit ramp in Paducah.

Hmm. Agree the herald sun is not to be taken seriously (news corp rag) - but the coffee scene is strong in Melbourne and god yeah I could tell the difference....& I think many regular coffee drinkers would.
