Are you really under the impression that comparable scenery doesn't exist in CA? I don't know what the point of spamming pics is. Once again, many of those pictures aren't natural.
Then it seems like you don't value nature very much. Buildings and human inhabitation destroy nature. They are the opposite of nature and they detract from natural scenery. This is one of the main reasons Italy loses this competition. It would be much closer if Italy wasn't ruined by people for so long.
Please don't presume to know what I like and what I don't.
It seems you've created this thread with the sole intention of giving California an automatic "win" by pitting it against a county which is smaller and more densely populated. Even so Italy still wins.

I strongly disagree with this, the strong point of a lot of those place is not the natural scenery itself but the equilibrium between the man-made and the natural part. It is arguable that, because of the building, those scenery are no more pure natural ones, but this doesn't mean that they have been ruined.

I am purely going off what you have said, I am not presuming anything.
I had no intentions with this thread except for entertainment because I was bored.
If you cannot see similarities between California and Italy I cannot help you.
At least according to the majority of voters, Italy doesn't win.

Absolutely! It's not as if there are huge, ugly glassy skycrapers popping up in rural Tuscany for example. The buildings complement the natural surroundings beautifully.
