But if you were from another planet, didn't know about these cities, and I dropped you in all four, I would guess Paris would "feel" the largest as its built very dense over a larger area than in the other three cities.

Pool is for which feels the largest, but no reason thread discussion needs to be one dimensional.
Moscow urban area seems to be larger than Istanbul.
I voted for Moscow because the suburbs are an endless sea of high rise apartments something similar to an Asian city, where as a place like London is just a bunch of town houses. Another close contender would be instanbul. Also from satilite images it seems that Moscow takes up more room.
Never been to Moscow but London is slightly smaller than Houston or about the same and has some nice dense areas but the main thing that increases densities outside of the core and poor areas is how tightly packed and small the average London house is. No backyard, small and expensive, back to back. Paris has high rise everywhere but also low density suburbs. The suburbs are dense in certain areas and the core is so ridiculously dense. Paris though is ridiculously small compared to London it only took 4 minutes coming east into the city with ridiculous traffic. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/40.7...a=!4m2!4m1!3e0
We went from Ankara to Istanbul and from Izmit turkey along the highway for a pure 70 miles was ridiculously dense coastal development apartments rising near the Bosphorus and we were still 40 miles from the city center. Never in my life have I seen dense apartment buildings that far from the city center. Izmit is basically connected to Istanbul by highway with no gaps whatsoever. It took us 3 hours after passing Izimit to get into Istanbul because of traffic, 40+ miles away and it felt like I was in the middle of a city not the countryside.
Never been to moscow but out of the three cities Istanbul by far.

4 minutes, it it's impossible.
Either you have some difficulty with time or either you are not aware of Paris geography.
