Oh, I should've referred to Osaka people in Japan. They do have sense of humor, and the language, or dialect they speak is quite different.

Russia has a rich history of comedic novels and movies, too. Slapstick and satire are especially well done in Russia - check out Irony of Fate, The Diamond Arm, Twelve Chairs, Operation 'Y' and the adventures of Shurik - so many good options.
All these movies are not understood by outsiders, because they make references to specifics of Russian life.
The last time I think Russians went on international tour with something humorous ( or rather satirical) was "An Unusual Concert" in the 60ies or 70ies.

Then A. Raikin was a brilliant comedian from earlier times, but I suspect even younger generation in Russia wouldn't understand by now what he was referring to. Therefore it's even more difficult for foreigners to understand Russian humor, as good as it is.

Are you kidding me?
Have you ever seen prank shows from Latin America?
The pranks are so crazy, that they would easily get shot if they did them in the US

I was wondering what countries or cultures enjoy the most vulgar jokes? Does anybody know?
