Well according to the article in the link below no!
In the last 5 years in Europe 2% of Terrorist attacks were committed by Muslims
''As Europol, the European Union’s law-enforcement agency, noted in its report released last year, the vast majority of terror attacks in Europe were perpetrated by separatist groups. For example, in 2013, there were 152 terror attacks in Europe. Only two of them were “religiously motivated,” while 84 were predicated upon ethno-nationalist or separatist beliefs.'' Are All Terrorists Muslims? It
So why are Muslims being demonised so much? Why are Teachers in Schools being told to watch out for ''radicalisation'' in Muslim Children? Is it a way to DEOMONISE them or simply for their safety?
Why haven't we heard about the FLNC which carried out rocket attacks on two Police stations?
Nope.
The reason people think Muslims are terrorists is because the Muslims on TV have always been terrorists, the terrorists on TV have always been Muslim, and people didn't have any experience with real Muslims to question that stereotype.
Per Europol, the European Union’s law-enforcement agency, over the last 5 years, less than 2% of the terrorist attacks in Europe were committed by Muslims. The vast majority of terror attacks in Europe were perpetrated by separatist groups.
The sample of Muslim Americans turning to terror is vanishingly small.
FBI study looking at terrorism committed on U.S. soil 1980-2005 found that 94% of the terror attacks were committed by non-Muslims. And as a 2014 study by University of North Carolina found, since the 9/11 attacks, Muslim-linked terrorism has claimed the lives of 37 Americans. In that same time period, more than 190,000 Americans were murdered.
Spoiler
According to the Triangle Center on Terrorism and Homeland Security, of the more than 300 American deaths from political violence and mass shootings since 9/11, only 33 have come at the hands of Muslim-Americans.
The overwhelming majority of mass shootings were by non-Muslims. (This is true in Europe, as well as in the U.S.)
Based on review of the approximately 2,400 terrorist attacks on U.S. soil contained within the START (Global Terrorism Database), only about 60 were carried out by Muslims.
In other words, ~ 2.5% of all terrorist attacks on U.S. soil 1970-2012 were carried out by Muslims. http://www.globalresearch.ca/non-mus...merica/5333619 http://www.start.umd.edu/gtd/about/ <<< the most comprehensive open-source database open to the public.
The main message is that there's a multitude of issues that are more threatening than ''Islamist terrorism'' I'm not saying it isn't a threat because it is but compare the threat of Islamic terrorism to police brutality, Police violence against African-Americans and to a lesser extent in the UK too against Black Brits, racist or Anti-Muslim attacks that are probably routine in some parts of the world.
Already this year, 161 unarmed Americans have been killed by American police. In less than 12 months. Already this year, 39 unarmed Americans have been killed by police tasers alone. That's more unarmed Americans killed by police tasers in one year, than by all Muslims since 9-11.
Keep in mind there is way more white right wing extremist in the US then there are Muslims. At less the 1% of the population they really do pull a lot of weight when it comes to terrorism though. I like how post 9/11 is now the starting point. Since by adding 9/11 to the equation would completely change the statistic. This is not to the mention the dozens upon dozens of unsuccessful Islamic terrorist attacks that have been halted by the police and FBI.
Nope.

I read the same statistics the other day when researching the issue. Sadly, people are so ignorant, I was accused of being an Islamist and anti-semite, just for posting the facts that don't match someones often bigoted notion, based on selective evidence. I'm not even religious!
The media pushes their agenda, selling advertising and fear, which in turn sells more advertising. But when you look at the facts, the evidence points in a different direction...But people have a hard time with facts.

And you're assuming that other terrorist acts perpetrated by other groups were not thwarted? The numbers say if 42% of terrorist attacks on our soil are perpetrated by Latinos, and 6% are perpetrated by Islamist extremists, chances are many more of the former get stopped.
Muslim terrorists are definitely more of a threat to the world than, say, local domestic shooters.
And nobody's saying that all Muslim are terrorists. Why do people always jump to this?
