How does a country with no access to an ocean or the sea, transport goods without having to pass through another country (and possibly pay higher fees)?
Are there examples of landlocked countries that have become wealthy?
Botswana's GDP (PPP) per capita is $10.000 higher than Namibia despite being completely landlocked where neighboring Namibia has a coastline of 1600 km.
So all of you are telling me that landlocked countries are not at a disadvantage? Better to not have access to the oceans then? Ports and harbors are not useful at all then, right?
