Many believe income per capita indicating if a country is more developed and its citizens have the
better quality of life but this fails because income per capita is the
wealth of a country divided between the number of inhabitants but this Index can be disproved by example
if you has a lot of expenses to the army in that country and there is little real income to meet the population.-
However life expectancy is a Index much more objective in that it comprises the following factors that in the practice guarantee if they with numbers without discussions the results of as the population of each country lives their develop and quality of life .
FACTORS INFLUENCING IN THE EXPECTANCY LIFE MORE INDISPUTED
A)The real income per capita that receiving population
B)The quality and good food generality of the population.
C)The quality of medicine and its generalization to the entire population.
D)The safety,The numbers of homicides,.
E)The numbers of suicides
Well we meet the surprise to some that according to OECD the Ranking of life expectancy has the following countries that are TOP in the world Japan ,Spain,France and Italy and in consequently that they 4 are the most developed and better quality of life and are Japan y 3 mediterranean countries and are not the most important countries large in economy and military as most people think -
1)Japan ...86,6 year
2)Spain ...86,1 ""
3)France,,85,6 ""
4)Italy,,,,85,2
I could support the notion that a long life expectancy correlates to a fine "Quality of life".
"Development", I'm not so sure. Many areas where life expectancies are high are actually rural. Like the islands south of Italy. Centenarians are pretty common in the rural area near where I grew up, and have been for generations. These are areas that aren't on the beaten path, where life is quiet, and follows traditional patterns, like the days and the seasons. That doesn't have much to do with "development"...
The level of social and economic development might have a greater affect on longevity for people who live in cities. Access to modern medicine becomes more important due to lifestyles in cities.
Life expectancy is something I've studied because I think it's probably the greatest measure of overall health of a people and would reflect their diet, medical care, suicide and murder rate, safety standards, etc. I'm not sure it would reflect the 'Quality of Life" so much as the 'Quantity of Life." Still, in this case, more is generally better.
Life expectancy also is tied to cultural habits, for instance in Russia. In Russia women generally don't drink and smoke as much as men do and have an expectancy of 76.5 years, however men with their drinking culture have a vastly grimmer expectancy of 65.3 years with an average of 70.9 years.

The Life expectancy most longer in small agricultural nuclei may be due to genetics and the food but in countries with millions of people it is the average the that prevails .
And do not forget that in these 4 countries people that live from agriculture are less than 10% of the population of the country .
Moreover some admit that they can live longer in these 4 countries because they eat fish and vegetables etc
but think not it relates this with their development.
They are wrong for example in Spain of postwar in this years they also eat fish and oil and ate fruit as now but life expectancy was very small 45 years,
Because the health care was poor the food was not varied for ( example milk missing) the work was very hard without assistance mechanical (low income per capita,etc).
It is therefore not possible a longer life expectancy without a good economic level combined with a good diet,good healthcare and good security.
I am sorry for some of the citizens of the most powerful countries because they think mistakenly that is where better quality of life and development there are and enjoyed their population( but their life quality only partially is good and in other countries is best as evidenced by the statistics of life expectancy )-
East Asians generally live longer than people of other racial backgrounds.
People of African descent have shorter lifespans.
Genetics are of little use. In such a context, it's cultural factors that matter and not racial backgrounds, a born and bred kid of Colombian, Japanese or South African descent that's born in Italy, fully integrated and who has no relationship with his culture is bound to have the same life expectancy than an Italian rather than someone with similar genetics and a different culture
Actually life expectancy has little to do with murder rates or suicide rates as even in the most violent countries and the nations with the highest suicide rates, the vast majority of people don't die from either. Only in a city/country that has over 100 murders per capita does the murder rate even cross 1% of deaths in a ten year period and that is ignoring those who are born or die from other reasons.
