I understand that, that's the whole point.
Just find many members on this forum too focused on the USA and Europe without knowing the rest of the world.

I'm at work so these are from the top of my head. I tried to think of them in alphabetical order.

I also know plenty of towns in Australia and NZ so will do that in the next post a bit later - however, as I was born in NZ and live in Australia, that does give me an advantage.

Anyway for Africa, Asia and Canada:

ASIA
Beijing
Calcutta
Denpasar
Hanoi
Jakarta
Manila
New Delhi
Osaka
Rangoon
Seoul
Shanghai
Tokyo
Ulaan Bataar

CANADA
Whitehorse
Medicine Hat
Regina
Halifax
St Johns

AFRICA
Antananarivo
Cape Town
Durban
East London
Freetown
Gabarone
Harare
Johannesburn
Kijali
Lusaka
Nairobi
Ougoudougou
Timbuktu
Tripoli

Not sure that I've spelt Ougoudougou right. The knowledge of African cities is due to me once swatting up on them for a Trivia night. Also I liked playing "Which SKyline is this on another subforum here on City Data. The regulars on that thread would do very well on this thread I think

I'll try and name a town/city in Australia for every letter of the aphabet (although I'll try and keep away from the capitals).

Albury NSW
Ballarat Vic
Cowra NSW
Deniliquin NSW
Emerald Qld
Forster NSW
Goulburn NSW
Hay NSW
Innisfail Qld
Junee NSW
Kingaroy Qld
Laurieton NSW
Mt Isa Qld
Newcastle NSW
Oberon NSW
Port Macquarie NSW
Queenstown Tas
Rockhampton Qld
Scone NSW
Townsville Qld
Ulmarra NSW
V
Wellington NSW
X ?
Yass NSW
Zeehan Tas

I know that there are towns beginning with "V" but for some reason, I just can't think of one. I think I can be excused for not being able to think of a town beginning with X

(The above are mostly reasonable-sized country towns (i.e population over 1,000 with most over 5,000) (with the exception being Ulmarra)

Edited to add the states to the towns

Montamores? Don't you mean Matamoros?

How do you know Churchill and Richmond but not Hamilton and Saskatoon?

How do you know Monrovia, Yamoussoukro, Niamey, Bangui, Dar es Salaam and Harare but not Casablanca, Marrakesh, Tunis, Alexandria, Dakar, Luanda and Durban?

How do you know Alice Springs but not Brisbane?

How do you know Kobe but not Kyoto?

You forgot about some really famous cities from Asia... Istanbul, Damascus, Beirut, Jerusalem, Mecca, Dubai, Kathmandu, Taipei, Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta etc.
I'll finish answering your question as I was a bit in a hurry and using my phone but prefer my laptop.

I know Churchill because I study wildlife and it's known for it's Polar Bears.

I know Richmond largely because my mom has visited the Vancouver area and I used to live in Richmond, California. I know Hamilton and Saskatoon. Just didn't pull them off the top of my head.

I know Monrovia for two reasons; the first is I once had a teacher from Liberia. Also, Liberia was founded by the US and settled by freed American slaves. As a Black American, I'm just going to know that. I know most of the other African cities, including the ones you mentioned. Nairobi and Kenya in general just seem well known in my part of the world along with Tanzania although most seem to know Zanzibar more.

Australia, again top of my head. No rhyme or reason there.

I know Kyoto and those other Asian cities too, see above.

I can name 60-80 cities/towns in Thailand, i won't bother writing them all down since most people would probably think i cheat.
I don't want to come off as a knows-it-all please don't get me wrong, i just really like to know the names of cities and towns in foreign countries. I guess you could see it as a hobby.
Easy thing about Thailand is that most provinces have a city with the exact same name.
