A fact!? How exactly? American football stops and starts, it even stops for ad breaks! These are 'facts' that suggest the game is far more monotonous than a game that has one half time break surely?

I'm not asking the world to embrace football, just to know what they're talking about.

Americans don't care if people don't want to learn football. But I care when they want to talk down about it like they know about it.

There is far more play variation in football than rugby. Fact.

Deal with it? Most Americans could care less if foreigners don't like our game, and even less about soccer.

That's not to say your football isn't popular here - it is with kids under 18. The adult population, not so much.

But so what? Enjoy what you like.

At least nobody is griping about Australian Rules Football. That's fun to watch those crazy Aussies.
Are you seriously trying to suggest than Americans are somehow 'smarter' or more 'physical' than other nations (considering that Trump is still actually a serious contender for president and the obesity epidemic in the US suggesting otherwise)? What is this? the first nation to come up with the 'master race' bollox since the Nazis? Are you seriously suggesting Europeans don't play American football because they cant afford knee pads?

But they only play for 10 minutes or so, fact. When the biggest thrill of your national final is the 'halftime show' I think that it says rather a lot about the game itself!

The Super Bowl is the most watched TV broadcast of all time. Non sports fans watch it for half time/commercials.

Only in the US, other sporting events have much larger TV audiences worldwide.

Eurovision is bigger than the Super Bowl.

Even the FA cup has three times as many viewers worldwide.

More than half-a-billion people will watch FA Cup final | Football | Sport | Daily Express

Okay, I have two other questions:

Why do Americans call their biggest baseball championship the "World Series" when Canada is the only other country that has participated?

Why are the winning Super Bowl teams "world champions", or something along those lines?
