I voted LA on that list but actually I would summer in Seattle, winter in Scottsdale or maybe Miami but I haven't spent much time in south Florida to know if I would chose that.

The only reason I can see to live in a big city is for work. If I was extremly wealthy I would no way live in any of those. I would vist them perhaps.

I would buy a private island in the San Juans or something in Washington and then only go to visit society when I need groceries. Now THATS the dream. I'd also be open to the yacht idea as others have stated.

But if the only way I could be wealthy was to live in one of these places, I would pick a beach house in LA. I'd also be open to the Bay Area, I've never been to San Francisco but I always had a feeling I would like that place.
