I wanted to go to Syria so bad. I actually had a ticket to visit there during my time in India but cancelled it due to lack of money. This was a huge mistake. I literally missed out on the chance to see Syria when it was still safe and a great place to visit.
*By visit i don't mean just 1 day with a cruise ship (I already did that with Colombia and Mexico but didn't have the chance to see enough of the countries) or staying in your resort for the entire holiday.

Ignoring the fact that most of these countries get millions of tourists a year, what is your issue with Ghana in particular? By African standards its stable and safe. It also is anxious to welcome tourists. Add Cuba to that too. Whats the fear with Cuba? As long as you are not there to purposefully rock the boat, it is much safer than other countries n Latin America and the Caribbean. Health concerns should be minimal there as well.

This list doesn't make much sense ... Most of these places are not even dangerous at all....
I most likely grew up in a better situation you did. Regardless, someone doesn't have to grow up in a ghetto to visit Peru.
Define "better situation"... When your name is "Burgler" that doesn't sound promising and Chile joined the first world just 2 years ago, the Netherlands has been part of it for 500 years.
