Sure it does it contradicts the "silent majority" bull **** narrative. It is a fact that Clinton received more votes in a true democracy she would have won. The electoral college is a disgrace(it was created for sheep) and should be dismantled.(I've thought this since 2000).

Quite agree, totally meaningless.

Wishful thinking on your part. It means Trumpty-dumpty can't claim a landslide nor a "mandate".

We are not a democracy, we are a representative republic. It's not an accident that the system is set up like it is. Who wants a tyranny of the masses?

He's a thought

If USA placed greater emphasis and resources on educating people to think more critically for themselves instead of worshiping and kissing sports heroes and rich people's asses we wouldn't have to worry so much about the "ignorant masses".

So true. Most people who vote on both sides are extremely ignorant people. I have them in my family and when you try to discuss economics or general local politics (city to county to state) they are clueless.

Oh, but for conspiracy theories and extremely narrow topics (abortion), they are very well informed and base their voting decisions on this.

Thomas Jefferson is rolling in his grave right now.

After I saw the election of Trump... I thought the world was in deep deep trouble. I really didn't like Clinton either, so the election was a bit of a lost cause. I hope that we can survive the next 4 years relatively unscathed.

Let them stack up, who cares. Hillary will continue wondering where she went wrong. Poor thing, lost her last shot at the White House.

Very much so. Jesse Ventura and Arnold Schwarzenegger are two other examples.
