Well i live not that far from Amsterdam and stats show Boston get more rain every year than Amsterdam.

How is the rainfall spread out? Some places has more rain in terms of volume but it is concentrated in fewer months.

Don't know about the herring but leidse kaas is one of my favorite cheeses on the planet.

Never been to Boston but Amsterdam was a disappointment for me. So I'll go with Boston.
