What may conquer China is pollution. If they don't get a handle on that soon, it's going to solve their population problem quite nicely. China could theoretically invade someplace else to fulfill its needs for food, fuel, water, etc...but no amount of throwing hissy fits, bragging, playing political chicken over silly things, subjugating Tibet or cozying up to North Korea will make China less chemically toxic. Only China can make itself less toxic.
