London is the true representative of the world because it's more super partes than NYC, wich is seen as the representative of identity and peculiar interests of USA, the strongest nation in the world but not the world...

The map is showing global connectivity in terms of first class and business class international air travel, which is a representation the volume of the movement of wealth and business activity across the world. The point is that it confirms, to some degree, what others have been saying, that the international or 'jetset' business community revolves around London.

You need to be more specific in terms of what you mean by 'international', if you're talking about something different.

London hands down.

If deciding who is the capital of the world were to consider only GDP, Tokyo would be #1,

Beijing. Most important city in the worlds most populated country. Which is well on the way to overtaking the US as having the highest GDP and influence of all countries.
With my heart, I would say London.
