By surreal, I mean rather ethereal, strange or even a bit futuristic. It feels like you're in a different world or time period when you're there. I will start with these:
An other city that is surreal for sure, Naypyidaw in Myanmar !
It's apparently a city that was build very fastly at a gigantic scale (bigger than NY) but now is totally empty as it doesn't attract any investors/people...
An other one again would be Havana in Cuba, thanks to its marvelous old-fashion cars
