The south in general. The pollution in winter is horrid and the population is just quite peasant in general (though the entire population is pretty ****ing peasant, but the south is worse). There is no decent job opportunity (not that there's a lot in the north) and the infrastructure is very poor.
Which country is this? Your profile is set on "private" and gives no indication. Let me guess. Italy? Egypt? Poland? Iran? Spain? Peru? Venezuela? Guyana? Argentina?
Certainly not the United States, whose fastest-growing population is in the South.

The mansions that paulistas have here doesn't show this. I've lived in São Paulo, Porto Alegre, Bahia and in all Brazil Rio is a preferred destination.
The air route Rio-São Paulo is among the busiest in the world.
In Canada I would say it is Newfoundlanders or Newfies for short that people make jokes about. Toronto and Vancouver are also looked down upon for those who don't live there.
ive relatives in vancouver island
they are catholic but act like the flanders family from the simpsons , puritan and ultra conservative
Queensland and Tasmania I suppose. The fact that they are the only two states in Australia with more people living outside than inside the state capital has a lot to do with that.
In Northern Europe (above the Alps) it's always the northerners who are looked down upon, in Southern Europe it's the southerners.
In France it is both. Southerners are considered "not serious" and are considered to have funny accents. Northerners (really, just the are area around Lille) are also considered in a bad way.
Basically, anything that is not Paris is considered backwards by Paris, and Paris is considered negatively by the rest of the country as well.
in ireland , its really only a case of dublin v the rest of the country or south dublin ( which is like west london ) v the rest of dublin
we have something here called a dublin 4 mentality or cultural attitude , dublin 4 is the richest postcode in the country and where the national broadcaster has its HQ , the national broadcaster is extremely PC and socially liberal , more so than the BBC
In Brazil, Rio...Everyone hates carioca and the city of Rio...Hell de Janeiro
In the truth Paulistas disgusting Rio giving bad image for Brazil abroad (because Rio is the most viewed abroad Brazilian city) and ‘’exporting their culture’’ (like funk music) for others parts of the country.
The excessive sexuality of woman, violence in favelas and violence against tourists, disorganization and leftism…
But look down really is the sense of economic and social backward is the Northeast
I think the two most hated states in the US are California and Texas.
Ironic that they're the most populated, isn't it? They both must be doing something right. Well, a lot right, actually.
