productivity is different to hours worked , naturally a technologically advanced nation like the usa , germany or australia will be more productive than somewhere like papua new guinea , doesnt mean the people in less advanced countries are not engage in hard work

i spent ten days working on a farm in buenos aires province argentina in 2004 as part of a south american trip , the farm was under stocked ( cattle ) and over staffed , i worked in new zealand six years prior to that for six months and the opposite was the case , the folks in argentina used horses to round up the cows for milking , in new zealand we used ATV,s
