Example: today there's a video of white Swedish guy kicking old woman in Bulgaria...he got apprehended but released shortly afterwards for "obvious reasons". Had the guy been tanned Muslim from Syria he'd be shot already I'm sure. How bad is racism from the police where you live?
Were I live in Houston, racism happens but isn't really a widespread problem with the police force. As the Houston area is 37% White, 37% Latino, 17% Black, 7% Asian and 2% Other. It isn't a racists worst nightmare and their are a lot more ethnically homogenous places that a racist might enjoy.
^ Not surprised, with all the news about police shootings in the US...though yeah I'll agree with you. Texas, at least in Bush's time was symbol of conservatism in Europe, these days proximity to Mexico has made it more diverse. I guess it should be worse in Idaho or other more-inner states.
There was just a study of body cam footage with Oakland Police in California and it was discovered that they speak to Whites with more respect than they do Blacks.

Did they do an inverse study at the same time to see if whites speak to the police with more respect than blacks?
Is racial profiling from the police an issue where you live?
It is controversial. Some people think that blacks and latinos are routinely profiled by the police. Other people think that blacks and latinos simply commit more crimes and are not disproportionately profiled.
Personally, I think profiling is perfectly reasonable. When I see grannies in wheelchairs getting shaken down at airports, all I can think of is political correctness run amuck. It's a total waste of resources. They should mostly target those that fit the highest likelihood of being up to no good and those who have raised suspicions. It's only logical.
