I think Asia will become more and more important but loooong way to go when it comes to ruling the world.
Maybe ruling the world shouldn't be the point.

There will be internal problems when many don't have the economic might to lure a women from outside of Asia to replace the girls who never got born.

The top ten cities when it comes to quality of life all "belong" to Europe, plus one in each of North America, Australia & NZ. This is what matters most for people I think.

Several Japanese cities have a reasonable claim.

Future worldwide growth will be mainly from Asia. Once Eurasia trade is fully connected with China's massive infrastructures building, world order will change. Trump will help the process with his protectionism.

Asia is not one homogenous place. India may find more in common with Britain than with China, Russia more in common with Germany than Thailand. There are large divisions within Asia.

Yes, in simple terms Asia will grow to become ever more influential but Asia is basically 4 or 5 continents; Middle East, ex-soviet, East Asia, South Asia and Southeast Asia. Each one of these regions are more varied than Europe vs South America vs North America vs Australasia.

In 20-30 years the most important regions will be: Eastern Asia, the Middle East and maybe Russia depending on who suceeds Putin (hopefully Navalny).

Even kids can see how the EU and America are fading rapidly but some drunk nationalists from these places can't. Japan is projected to become first in HDI while Chinese economy will surpass US economy in 15 years, China also won't collapse like Japan in the early 90s as they're first in the world in terms of $$$ reserves, while the US is not even in top 10, no european country except Switzerland is in top 10 either (speaking of which Switzerland holds other countries' money...).

Other changes will be that Saudi Arabia will become "world power" while Israel and UAE will be even richer, surpassing Monaco, Luxembourg by a mile.

How can Saudi Arabia and the UAE be richer with falling oil prices? If the prices remains that low - what i definately hope and expect - they are bankrupt in 10 years. Already one can see raising tensions due to the lack of money.

Surprise, surprise only 25% of UAE's economy is due to oil. Saudis are trying to copycat Dubai's success and other gulf states too. Even without oil these countries are so hot they can exist solely on solar power, which is a growing market...it's like Allah had blessed them no matter what.
