While the rest of the G20 were running around fretting over the Paris accords, two of the big boys in the room did something constructive. Let's hope that it holds up.

I hope this stays in the world forums being as it's geared less as a political controversy and more as a global event.

It was not meant to be political (well a little jab ). It truly good news for the world if it holds together.

Funny how the media largely overlooked this piece of good news, it seems as though they're reluctant to report anything that paints Trump in a positive light.

1. I disagree. It wasn't overlooked at all. Pretty much all of the large news outlet commented on it.

2. The ceasefire is largely irelevant as it only concerns the three most southern pronvices of Syria, which is an area where there is no military engagement by the coalition. Israel operates in the area and they are probably not too fond of the ceasefire, not that it matters as they certainly won't respect it anyway - with good reason.

To me, Trump yet again, made a fool of himself. Cyber security with Russia? LOL! And the most hollow ceasefire in history. Meanwhile in the room next door the remaining G20 countries discuss future energy sources. It's a disgrace that the world's only super power doesn't have a seat at that table.
