It's one place I feel I have to go back to. Hope to see it from a closer location.

One of the uninhabited Galapagos Islands. I remember the sand was pure white, the water of the ocean was so clear and clean that I could see little fish near the shore and the sky/horizon was so blue & sunny better than picture postcard that I had seen at the time.

Montenegro. I went there for a work trip and my team and I rented a car are drove around just about the entire country. It packs a lot in such a small place, from huge mountains to coast. The Bay of Kotor is amazing.

I kept sitting there for hours, on one of those benches.
I went to Bukhara and Samarkand in March during Navruz (Persian New Year) and it was amazing. I was surprised at the lack of tourists then as well. The locals are probably the friendliest I've met anywhere in the world.

Well, at the time it was in Czechoslovakia. Who knows. I guess you can google it if you want - it hasn't moved. I think it's less than an hour from a border on one side or the other/

Ngorongoro crater. It is basically a giant earthen bowl filled with lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and so on.
