It might be cliche, but the if the Grand Canyon doesn't blow you away the first time you see it, you're dead on the inside.

Berlin took my breath away.

Actually that was the band, as featured in Top Gun and not the place.

The view of the sky from the Atacama Desert. I went to a chacra in a really small town, not really a tourist destination, and when nighttime came we went with some friends to an elevated hill over there in the desert. And when you looked up, it was breathtaking! Thousands of stars everywhere, in all directions, you could even see the Milky Way! Growing up in big cities all my life I have never seen anything like I saw that night. I was not really expecting much which made it all the more surprising

Oh, snap. The first time I saw it I though, "Meh, it's an inside out mountain range."

I think it is also more stunning to people who are not familiar with the geology of the Southwest US. Admittedly I have grown to appreciate it more.

The beauty of Sri Lanka blew me away. Some parts of Thailand, Ecuador, and the Philippines are also amazing.

The view of Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, from the vantage point of the road high above the lake. No matter how many times I'd been there, it always took my breath away.
