Whilst the Irish do drink more tea per capita than the English they're behind Morocco and a very long way behind Turkey in annual consumption.

Brussels can claim the title for best Beer and Chocolate in the world, Rome can claim Pasta and Coffee.

A few to add?
Fish/Seafood: Tokyo, Japan
Breads/Bakeries Also?: Paris, France (I think)
Cheese: Madison, Wisconsin in the US (Plymouth nearby but smaller), World, Zurich?
What about fruits and veggies? Both in terms of consumption, and also unique fruits/veggies produced there. Or is that too hard to do for just one category.

Not only that, but Waffles too (not that widespread, but still, tiny Belgium has quite a bit of influence).

When I think of tea I think of Darjeeling, India but not sure if it is hugely popular there or if it is mostly for export.
