Seemingly, none of you has watched or commented on the short video on this subject by "Economist" magazine (that I posted above in post #7), so I will have to paraphrase what was said in there.
Britain with its economic problems, should move south, to the Madeira islands area beyond Portugal.
Poland should move to the place vacated by Britain, where it will be safe from Russia and Germany, who have both caused it great harm and suffering over the centuries historically.
Belgium- troubled by its language squabbles between its Dutch and French speakers, should move to where the Czech Republic is, where it would be among stolid, well-organized neighboring countries like itself.
Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia should all move to the ocean west of Ireland, where they would be safe from continuing Russian influence
Belarus, still troubled by a ruthless dictator, should move into the place vacated by the Baltic countries, where it would enjoy bracing sea air and be closer to Scandinavian influence
Western and central Ukraine should move into the space vacated by Poland. By suddenly being on the German border, western Ukraine would then force Germany to take seriously its bid to join the E.U.
Macedonia, Kosovo, and Albania should rotate (switch places). This would make Kosovo safer from Serbia's threats and interference.....And with Macedonia further from Greece, it would also eliminate the quarrel with Greece over northern Greece wanting itself to use the name Macedonia.
Switzerland should move into the area between Oslo norway and Denmark. It would get along very well there with its neutral and non-E.U. neighbors. (Sweden like Switzerland having been neutral during W.W.1, W.W.2, and the Cold War....and Denmark like Switzerland being a non-E.U. member).
Austria should move west, into the space vacated by Switzerland
Slovenia and Croatia should join northern Italy to form a new country
Corsica and Sardinia should join with southern Italy and form a new nation called "Bordello" - LOL.
