So, the fact that Israel has succeeded as a nation while the groups that control Palestine are abject failures at basically everything is something that Israel should be ashamed of?

You would make a model Palestinian yourself. Playing the victim card (and blowing up innocent people) are about the only skills the Palestinians have mastered in the last 70 years.

Harsh, but sadly true in many ways. If the Palestinians were to invest their efforts into more productive ventures, they would be able to accomplish a lot more than they have and likely would have achieved statehood by now.

The Palestinians have been victims of their own victim mentality more than anything else. When you think that someone else is always to blame for everything that happens to you in life there is no reason for introspection. For 70 years the Palestinians have been blaming Jews and Israel for all their misfortunes instead of taking some responsibility for their own actions. Hasn't done much good for them. Maybe time to try something different? They don't have to look far for a good example.

Indeed. The worst part is that many don’t want to live next to Israel and would rather destroy it then approach it with constructive dialog. The Arabs attacked Israel a bunch of times with the intent of ensuring its destruction.
Then we have people like Roger Waters who push their BDS crap on everyone. If he wishes to boycott Israel then let him do it, but stop slamming everyone in the press who doesn’t align with that. Even here in Australia, the BDS movements wants to boycott Max Brenner (a store specialising in chocolate and other delicacies) because the owners support Israel. We don’t get that childish behaviour from the other side.

So because they are vastly stronger than the Palestinians, they should just take the bombings, the stabbings, the shootings, the rammings, the rockets...? The Palestinians are probably the worst fighters on earth - not just that they are cowards but also that they are just plain inept - and would be much better suited to trying to come to an agreement with Israel than trying to fight them.

I counter-boycott the artists and businesses that participate in BDS. Roger Waters sucks, anyways...

The problem with recognizing Palestine is that it is set on destroying another country, Israel. Thus the two are inherently inimical. To the best of my knowledge Kosovo is not dedicated to the extirpation of any other country.

The Palestinians are not victims. They have been offered a state numerous times and constantly reject it unless it is set on a path of ultimately wiping out Israel, either through force or through immigration under a "right of return." That was Arafat's last demand after boundaries were worked out with President Clinton's help in 2000 and early 2001.

As far as the Diaspora, the Diaspora was the result of the expulsion of the Jews from the Holy Land by the Romans.
