Also, technically many different places in the world matter and are still important in their own ways, including major city and non major city related places so this is not as one dimensional as it seems.

Yes, Toronto, San Francisco, Stockholm, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen are still powerful and wealthy cities.
But did you agree with all the other cities in my list? Did you also agree with how many different places in the world matter and are important in their own ways, including major city and non major city related places and that this concept of importance is not as one dimensional as it seems? It seems like you agreed with the rest of what I said.
its London because London is way more important to the U,k. everything in that nation is put into one city. As for the us its has D.C, new york, and Chicago.
The experts say NYC. New York city pretty much dominates every global city list
i would say london is as powerful as new york if not even more so, it is the global financial capital, the worlds most cosmopolitan city, and the worlds favourite place to study. over 90,000 students from all over the world choose london, more international students than any other city. No other city has as many top-ranked universities in the top 100, londons testament to a global academic capital.
but money does! and london is the financial capitol of the world, it's maybe hard for an american to take than a city in little uk can be just as or more powerful than new york, but its true!
I'm going to break ranks from the hordes who say that D.C., NYC, London, Tokyo, Shanghai, etc. etc. etc. are all the "most powerful" cities in the world.
Where do the leaders of the businesses, technological trends, and political leaders of the world typically look to as the pinnacle of where these people TRAIN and LEARN?
Cambridge, Mass. Home of MIT and Harvard.
Ithaca, NY: Cornell
Hanover, NH: Dartmouth
Princeton, NJ: Princeton
Philadelphia: U of Pennsylvania
Newhaven, Conn: Yale
Colombia University: NYC (OK had to include them)
Where have more astronauts come from (non-military school) in the world? Purdue University, in West Lafayette, IN.
Which college has the most Nobel Laureates affiliated with the college? Colombia University. Followed by Cambridge U (UK), University of Chicago, then MIT, then Harvard.
Which college has the most patents in the world? Far East University, in Taiwan.
It is the dreamers, technologists, and innovators that shape the future of business, technology, and the future of our species, and the rest of the world stands on the shoulders of these giants.

Bottom line is new york dominates every global city ranking out there. And is tied with london as the worlds financial center and will surpass it if london doesnt get it together
Empire state building>>>>>>>big ben
Statue of liberty>>>>london eye
Wow a city that great has a glorified ferris wheel as a major attraction. And what amazing skyline or city scape are you going to see from there
No way is london more impressive than the five boroughs

Here we go again with KONY's ridiculous and delusional posts.
You try to make London look bad on purpose but London is as powerful as New York and is still a great city. A vast majority of people will not agree with you, KONY, so you stand mostly alone in your ignorance.
Anyways, you see this post of mine to see some of the powerful cities in the world:
