They both suck but I would take Yemen just because it isn't land locked and maybe is perhaps safer.

Montreal vs Oslo

Lived in Hawaii for a few years, and have been around Florida a few times. Isolation (living on an island 6 hours from anywhere else) vs suburbia.. As much as I loved Hawaii, as an avid traveler the isolation and disconnection from the rest of the world really got to me after a while. Hawaii, in my opinion, is a great place to spend a few months per year, but I'd feel trapped if I had to move back there permanently. I'd be willing to roll the dice on south Florida due to it's connectivity to the rest of the country as well as international travel options. So Fort Myers, FL.

San Juan, Puerto Rico or San Jose, Costa Rica?

San Jose. I wouldn't care to be on an island - plus I've never really heard anything good about San Juan.

Gibraltar or Cape Town?

Gibraltar due to being connected to Europe. Morocco is also next door which is fascinating too.

Kuala Lumpur - I'm guessing it's safer and I prefer it's location as more of a central hub.

Saint Petersburg, Russia vs. Reykjavík, Iceland

Reykjavik because Iceland is beautiful and it is a more open society.

Perth, Australia vs. Santiago, Chile

With the unrest in Chile at the moment, I'll take Perth. Plus, English speaking is convenient.

Montego Bay, Jamaica or Belize City, Belize?
