Qaanaaq is colder but has 10x the population and isn't a base so I will go with that.

Melbourne. I think I would like Oz, and Asia just doesn't spark my interest.

Kiev, Ukraine or Goa, India?

Manila. I have no interest in living in a Muslim country, even if it is more cosmopolitan than most.

Andorra or San Marino?

Never been to either but I'll choose Quito. I am fascinated by Ecuador and its high on my list to visit. Aside from Mexico City, my interest in Mexico is a few notches lower.

Buenos Aires or Madrid

Victoria BC, better connected- the isolation in NZ would get me. I've never been to NZ, but the flight to Australia is a b!@ch, so the flight to NZ must be a b!#ch and a half.

Quebec City, Canada or Lyon, France
