Cadiz Spain vs San Juan Puerto Rico
Cadiz. I've heard some not so great things about crime in Puerto Rico as of late, so this comes down to safety for me. Wood-wise, I'd pick San Juan any day as Puerto Rican food is among my favorite!

Las Vegas, Nevada vs. Macau, PRC?

Oh this one is fairly interesting. Neither one would be among my favorite places in the world, but I am planning to live in both at some point in my life. LV simply because of how unique it is, and I'd like to experience living on the strip for a few months. Macau, I suppose for similar reasons however it is also my wife's hometown and a place we have almost moved to in the past. I wouldn't love it, but it would provide me a fairly unique experience for a temporary period of time.

I guess I'll take this question to be where would I live for several years or more, and for that reason I'll take Macau cause it is much more practical for my family. I would need to live there for 183 days a year for 7 straight years to get my PR, but I probably will never do that.

Cordoba, Argentina v Valencia, Spain

Valencia, Spain.
Beach, ocean, medi climate, nightlife, etc. (but I would love to live in Cordoba, too!)

Oslo, Norway or Stockholm, Sweden?

Oslo, Norway or Stockholm, Sweden?
This is a tough one and I've flipped back and forth since looking at Streetview and statistics. At first I liked Oslo better because I think it's a little more picturesque and just prettier from the street level perspective with windy streets outside of the core with pretty single family houses. Stockholm is a little bit uglier I think, with lots of plain apartment blocks. That gives it higher density which I prefer. Also, I'm currently reading "Let The Right One In" which takes place in Stockholm suburbs, so that's what I'm going with.

Stockholm or Prague?

I can say with fair certainty that we would take Prague. I've never been to Stockholm and I imagine it is really wonderful to live in, but ultimately my wife and I would be pulled to Prague because we've been there and love it and also because of its large Vietnamese population. We really strongly desire to have Asian amenities available wherever we live and the Vietnamese in Prague and the CZ as a whole goes a long way to making us feel comfortable.

Johor Bahru, Malaysia v Tijuana, Mexico

Johor Bahru, Malaysia because it is much safer than Tijuana. There is a huge problem with drugs and gangs in Tijuana. Johor Bahru does not have all that crap. Of course tourists need to be cautious there, but the chances of being mugged is lesser in Johor Bahru than Tijuana.

Phuket Thailand or Bali Indonesia.

Phuket. I find Bali's beauty overrated and Thailand's landscape quite underrated. There's also the fact that it's more gay friendly.

Prague, Czech Republic or Copenhagen, Denmark?

Honolulu any day! Honolulu was my home for 3.5 years and I lived in Australia (Sydney, not Perth) for a few months.

I can imagine that Perth has many differences from Sydney (and, don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved Sydney itself), but Honolulu wins this one for me due to familiarity and the such.

Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia va. Bali, Indonesia?

Bali because the culture is a lot more suitable for me although the fact that Malaysia is a lot more politically stable almost tilted it in its favour.

Manchester, UK or Liverpool, UK?
