The Spain one just out of preference for the Spanish government over Florida's. Weather is probably more tolerable too.

Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina or Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina?

Singapore, mainly for English. most of Taiwan is pretty nice, but not Taipei.

Izmir, Turkey, or Colombo, Sri Lanka

Ooh this is tough. Sri Lanka is bigger, and I've always felt an affinity with South Indian culture (vegetarianism, valuing of education, seems less caught up in the BJP anti-Muslim nonsense). Sri Lanka has some interesting schools of Buddhism that are kind of a transitional state between Theravada and Mahayana, from when the latter was just starting to become a thing as the religion migrated east. Colombo in particular looks a lot more urban than Izmir.

But Izmir is farther north, and also drier; I don't know if I could live in Sri Lanka's climate year-round. It also has a metro, which I didn't know until today. I'll probably take Colombo overall, though.

Since my last pairing wasn't answered I'll post it again:

Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina or Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina?

Doha, Qatar or Abu Dhabi, UAE?
I guess Abu Dhabi, just because the UAE is a larger country with more places to visit (Dubai and Al-Ain as well as smaller cities and towns). Both countries would be among my lowest choices in the Arab world (outside of I guess Yemen, Libya, and Syria).

Staying in that region: Algiers, Algeria or Marrakesh, Morocco?

Morocco for me. Affordable cost of living with the beach. It looks beautiful and they're also getting better in soccer.

Next: Montenegro, Philippines, or Poland?

Let’s revive this thread… I’ll go with Montenegro, albeit reluctantly.

Amalfi Coast or French Riviera?

French Riviera. I like that it has a fairly large city with Nice alongside the smaller cities and towns and countryside.

Zanzibar or Falkland Islands

I’ll go with Zanzibar. Admittedly, I didn’t know much about it but the pictures I saw look amazing! Not a huge fan of Argentina or Tanzania, but Zanzibar is definitely more my scene than the Faulkland Islands.

Now two cities filled with history…

Kyoto or Florence

Kyoto. It's closer to both mountains and the ocean, especially with its trains.

Kochi, India or Đà Nẵng, Vietnam?
