Are there even any true World cities in Florida? Japan has Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nagoya, Kobe, Sapporo minimal. Exotic atmosphere right from the familiar. The real top rank USA states are New York, California, Illinois, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, Texas, Massachusetts, even Ohio. Japan can still stand on it's own even when comparing to all of those states collectively. A city past 10 million people with views of a giant mountainous Volcano is unheard of even in the USA. At least that massive.

Japan without hesitation over Florida. Japan versus entire USA pretty much even alliance deep down.

I consider Miami to be one, though it is borderline. Orlando might be argued as well, although I would definitely say no.

That's 4 separate metropolitan areas, just to be clear. Yes each of those cities has a distinct feel and lots to offer, but several fall within the same region. As for exotic, I mean, that depends on your perspective right?

I consider FL to be in the top four with NY, CA and TX in terms of outward influence/impact and inward amenities/QOL. So I consider it ahead of the rest of those.

But this is certainly an understandable viewpoint. Especially if one is fixated on population...Tokyo area population alone is almost double the entire state of FL!

Florida wins this with diversity alone. Japan is 98% Japanese. And what's up with comparing an entire country to a state? It's two totally different lifestyles. Florida easily.
