If the US dollar and economy collapsed I think the rest of the world economies would collapse with it.

If the US collapsed the world would be a much poorer place and a much, much, much more dangerous one.

The US is the country that keep the 2 largest authoritarian countries in check, China and Russia. Obviously Russia isn't going to attack Germany or France just as China won't attack Japan. They are however aggressive countries so they will begin invasions or de-facto puppet governments in many closer nations ie Eastern Europe and South East Asia where the rest of the world would complain but not go to bat to protect them and due to the military power of Russia and China, the invaded countries will quickly capitulate. China particularly would begin far more aggressively pushing it's economic power and influence onto the developing world especially Africa and Latin America.

The US really is the world's police officer. Like all police officers they try to enforce the laws and keep criminals at bay. Unfortunately like the police the US can be a bit too aggressive, undiplomatic and a bit of a know-it-all bully with the 'big fish in a small pond' mentality but when push comes to shove we would FAR rather have the police around with those faults than leave our communities at the mercy of criminals and thugs like China and Russia.

Would you please stop calling China evil because it is not! What about the billions of dollars in investments in Africa and how it is helping struggling nations like Venezuela, without question by the way?

And as for Russia, why would it gain supporters if it was evil?

America is not a government or a central bank or Fort Knox full of commonly held gold. It is 350-million people with survival instinct, who cumulatively own a great deal of income property and productive capacity and educated savvy. It will not "go broke". If its pieces become fragmented, it will still be a powerful continent, insulated by oceans and united by culture..

My friend, think about it... if they fall, you'll get the chance to do what they did to you more than a 100 years ago......

I know right and yet China invests billions of dollars all over the world, mostly in third world countries, helping alleviate poverty in them and China is evil?
