3rd World isn't defined as "anywhere outside Western Europe and North America"

Chile has annual per capita GDP of $27,000 on PPP basis (and probably even higher than that in the largest urban centers). How on earth is that “third world”?

Not to mention a higher life expectancy than the US, and similar to that of Denmark and Germany

Bhutan to learn and to apply their ingredients for "happy".
Botswana for the opportunity to spend my life learning about nature.

You really should’ve included a poll, or at the very least some examples. People are gonna blur more developing nations with lesser developing nations all day long, and understandably so. Unless you’re knowledgeable about world economies it’s tough to tell many apart from what we see in the media, or even what we were taught in school for those of us over 40.

I’m gonna muck up this conversation even more and go to the South Pacific with a couple of small developing island nations. French Polynesia (Tahiti) or Fiji would suit me just fine.
