In my 34 years I have lived in:
1. Born in a small town in CT where I lived for 18 months
2. Moved to another small town in CT for the next 16.5 years of my life, split between 2 houses.
3. Biddeford, Maine for 2 years
4. Portland Maine for 4 years, the first year in a dorm, the next 3 in an apartment
5. Shijiazhuang, China for 22 months
6. Moved back to the small town from #2 on my list for 8 months
7. Washington DC for 2 years and 9 months
8. Another small town in CT for a month
9. Bogota Colombia for 2 years, split between 3 apartments
10. Small town in Colombia near Bogota for a year
11. Guatemala City for a year
12. Monterrey, Mexico for a year
13. Now, I will be moving back to another small town in Colombia in a month.

Finally settled in Miami, ain't budging come hell or high water, whichever is first and don't care either way.

I have lived in the Washington DC metro area most of my life.
I thought about moving to the New York City area, but the high COL and property taxes discouraged me. Also, I heard too many stories about having to work crazy hours.
I am not inclined to move anywhere else right now, because I would have to take a huge salary cut and start all over again in my career. Maybe after I retire, who knows?
