Cubans.
Not just Cubans. In Miami there is a lot of people from Colombia and Venezeula, and they are just as reactionary as Cubans. And despite what backpacker says there are many central americans in Miami, mainly Nicaraguans and Hondurans.

Miami is the last city on earth I would ever move to.

New York City - Crowded, expensive, lots to do there though

Los Angeles -Expensive, homeless problem, gentrification

Chicago-Lake Michigan, diverse, walkable

San Francisco-Ocean, mild weather, progressive

Las Vegas -Desert, hot, touristy

Washington DC-Cultural attractions, a bit crowded.

Miami - Classist, over priced, rude people

Boston-Interesting downtown, loco drivers, cultured

Philadelphia-Walkable, interesting architecture, friendly for a large city

Houston - HOT here in summer, friendly people, growing fast

Dallas - Fast paced, spread out, kinda generic looking

Seattle - Nirvana, progressive politics, environmentalists

Minneapolis- Close to nature, growing, attractions

Denver-Expensive, sprawling, changeable weather

Pittsburgh - Diverse, underrated, comeback city

New Orleans - History, one-of-a-kind, jazz

Detroit -Downtown renovation, grittiness, unique architecture, industrial

Phoenix-Hotter than hell, desert, snowbirds, live and let live attitude

Portland, OR-Artsy, individualistic, progressives

Indianapolis-The speedway, growing economy, underrated

Columbus-Growing economy, good location

Baltimore - Gritty, unique culture, music

Nashville -Music, food, medical industry

Cleveland -Industry, cultural attractions, music

Milwaukee-Friendly natives, sports, waterfront

Buffalo-Trying to come back, hot wings, snow

Boise, ID-Making people angry by saying BOY-ZEE instead of BOY-SEE

Rochester, NY-Parks, growth, winter activities

Syracuse-Hometown, snowbelt, blue collar, good food

If the city is not listed it is because I am not familiar with it enough to have an impression. Also these are my own opinions so don't get offended if your city was shortchanged or bashed a bit...

Yeah, the Boston one, at least, is unfortunately fairly spot-on.

Nah, fam. Our accent is lovely (listen to any JFK speech for a ‘nice’ version of it) and our architecture, beautiful. (An example of mine below)

The following is all my personal measure, just for fun, no intention to offend anyone with different standards.

New York City - I would live in Manhattan if I were filthy rich, at least $30M in assets, better if in the hundred millions or billions.

Los Angeles - Beautiful, see above for wealth threshhold, but in any case not for me.

San Francisco - If I had to live in CA and were filthy rich (see above), I suppose I could live there. I have friends who do for many years, survive by rent control.

Las Vegas - don't care about gambling, nonetheless could live there because warm and no state income tax, but second rate compared to Miami by my measure.

Miami - comfortable.

Boston - great town, great culture, very cold, very old housing stock, would consider living there if I were filthy rich (see above).

Houston - could live there because warm and no state income tax, but second rate compared to Miami by my measure.

Dallas - too cold in winter compared to Houston or even San Antonio.

New Orleans - probably the only city in US that I've never visited but maybe would want to.

Phoenix - warm, but not Nevada.

Portland, OR - no state income tax, image of state and city has some appeal, but too cold and damp.

San Diego - see comments on LA.

San Antonio - heard nice things about it, but still second rate compared to Miami by my measure.

Reno - okay town, more pleasant than Las Vegas, except for cold in winter.

Orlando - a cheaper Miami, I suppose, parks are great, but about 10 degrees colder in winter, deal-breaker.
