My country had shot out the bullets already, now we're resorting to hardcore retarded "strategies":

1. Unemployed people are allowed to get a loan...just lol;
2. The government (police) now has free access to everyone's phone and internet...for reasons no one can explain, I guess their goal isn't to siphone money or fine you but just to see when someone is going out ("likely").

I can't find a list of countries NOT affected by coronavirus, but it seems that there are still some.
What's really interesting that Turkmenistan and Yemen (bordering with countries that are affected) didn't report any cases, yet.
Whatever they are doing it's brilliant!

The inspirational songs are starting to emerge! Yay!
Chorus:
"We're human, supposedly we're kin, instead of putting you down when you make a mistake, I shut my mouth and stretch out my hand."
- When all this is over, each of us will become more HUMAN.

85 year old British woman was the first live to be saved from Covid-19 in the city of Cartagena, Colombia. Released amid medical staff applause. 25 people have died in Colombia thus far due to Covid-19. There is currently another British fireman critical in the city of Armenia, Colombia; the only person critical in said city due to Covid-19 thus far.

Colombia's pro-active stance seems to be working despite having a had a near-to-collapsed medical system for the past 4 years due to the burden of 2 million Venezuelan migrants, many of whom have not been vaccinated from other diseases such as Tuberculosis, Measles and Hepatitis.

Yeah her son, John from Oxford, choked up in a video when he thanked the medical staff from saving her. t brings home how every number is an actual life!

Drones are now policing the skies honing in on people on the street and telling them to get the F indoors - lol. Seems like something out of a Sci-Fi movie.

Colombia's Covid-19 infection curve is flatter than South Korea's. The WHO has applauded Colombia's response. Certain sources are placing it as one of the top five countries globally most effectively responding to the Coronavirus crisis.

"While we are far too early in the outbreak to draw concrete conclusions – and there can be gaps in the data collection – the graphs below show Colombia registering a lower rate of infection when compared with Italy and even South Korea, previously considered a success story for effective outbreak control."
Coronavirus in Colombia: April 3 update

50,000 fast COVID-19 testers arrived in the country from South Korea as part of a cooperation agreement between both nations. The Ministry of Health aims to test up to 17,000 potential carriers of the virus every day. The Illinois pharma giant Abbott Laboratories has offered Colombia 1 million test kits.

“We Need to Solve This”: Colombia’s Amazing Race to Build a $1,000 Ventilator | Vanity Fair
With every country in the world bidding for the lifesaving machines, which provide oxygen to patients in extreme respiratory distress, Colombia was likely to be priced out of the international market. “These are economies with preexisting conditions,” said Luis Alberto Moreno, president of the Inter-American Development Bank. “It is very hard for them to get medical equipment.” Like the rest of the developing world facing COVID-19, Colombia would be left to its own devices—literally.

Ventilators are complex and sensitive, super difficult to construct—as GM kept telling President Trump and all who would listen before Trump invoked the Defense Production Act and ordered the automaker to start manufacturing them anyway. So it was remarkable in the extreme when all three Medellín teams (University of Antioquia, Antioquia School of Engineering and Techfit Colombia) had their basic prototypes constructed within 10 days—putting them in a category with Dyson, the British high-end vacuum cleaner brand, which took the same amount of time to design a new ventilator that is expected to debut in early April.

The Colombian ventilators are open source and the hope is to sell them for $1,000 per unit, a far cry from the $25,000 New York Governor Andrew Cuomo recently complained he was being forced to pay per device by the Chinese. It does only work on sedated patients for now, however.

I hope it stays that way for them and they don't go the same way as Ecuador. They are having a really hard time with this.
