London I would say with New York in close contention and at times interchangeable. Both Alpha cities, even if I did prefer both years ago to what they have become.
Architecture: New York
People/Diversity: All
Food: New York
Nightlife: New York & London
Standard/Quality of Living: Sydney & Toronto
Economy: New York
Politics: Sydney & Toronto
Climate and Environment: London
Education: London
Entertainment (museums, theaters, music scene, dance): New York
Infrastructure and Transportation: London
Surroundings: London
Fashion: New York & London
Literary/Cinematic/Televisual impact and exports: New York
Not sure about that. If surroundings mean proximity to natural attractions and highlights, then Sydney would win, with the Blue Mountains 2 hours from the city and lot's of hiking trails/nature walks around the coastal suburbs of Manly, Bondi and Maroubra.

There are lots of hiking trails/nature walks around all of the cities no?

Sure, but some pale in comparison to others in terms of what they have. Sydney has some sprawling vistas of the Pacific Ocean, plus greenery, plus rock formations that are thousands of years old, and white sandy beaches within kilometres of each other. While London's trails would be lush and green, presumably hilly too, they don't have the abundance of natural splendour that Sydney has. Plus, London is a very inland city, so it doesn't have the sparkling blue ocean nearby, that Sydney and even New York City have.

The Jurassic coast in Devon and Dorset has some very old rock formations and some lovely walks, and is only a car or train joutnet away. Poole is Europe's largest natural harbour and the secnd largest in the world and there are some lovely areas and very expensive houses.
The Chilterns are very pleasant as are many of the surrounding areas of London, whilst Brighton and many other coastal destinations are less than an hour a way by train.
In terms of the train network, London is a hub for both national and European destinmations and there are all kinds of possibilities.
That's not to say Sydney isn't a great city, it's just tbf the other cities also have some interesting areas and walks, as well as fairly accesible destinations.

Nowhere in the UK is 'very inland' there is around 8 thousand miles of coastline in the UK (2nd longest in Europe behind only Norway (if you don't count Russia)). There are hundreds if beautiful white sandy beaches, the 'Jurasic coast' in Dorset is a world heritage site, the name of the coastline should give you a clue as to the age of the rock formations, nearly everybody in the UK live less than 100 miles from the beach, you seem to base what you're saying on 'assumptions'

But that’s not within the city lol. Bondi beach or Manly beach and the amazing surroundings are only 30 mins away by bus or ferry from the downtown. Even near the downtown you have amazing trails like the Bay Run that London simply can’t beat because it’s not a harbour city. London has amazing parks but can’t compete with Sydney in this regards. Plus Sydney has a better climate!

Agree.
Even Toronto is located along a giant lake....Lake Ontario, which can "seem" like the ocean,
particularly on a windy day when the waves kick up.
London only has a river...Thames....I nice river ...with iconic Tower Bridge.
For over all day to day living...Toronto gets a bit short changed...
it is the least expensive of the 4 (maybe not by much)...and is comparable
mostly with Sydney for livability.
Sydney edges out Toronto in climate ...actually best climate of the bunch.
Toronto edges out Sydney in location....Toronto is only a 1 hour flight from NYC,
and Chicago and Montreal....
Toronto is within 600 miles of over 150 million people.
