I am learning each of the following languages... Russian, German, Welsh and Mandarin. Good or weird combination?

Just would like to hear the opinion of others on it

Nothing against Welsh but it seems like it has little applicability outside of Wales itself.

In fact, in Wales in many regions (including the major cities) usually the main and only language used is English.

The others have more status as world languages, and way more speakers and applicability.

But seriously - why those languages and what is there to say about them? The only opinion I could offer at this point is that they are simply "other" languages besides the language I use (English) and they are not important to me and I have no desire to learn any of them nor am I in a position to give an opinion about them except to say good luck in your endeavours and I hope you enjoy learning them.

However, if I knew what other languages you already know besides English or the above noted 4, or if I was given your reason for why you have chosen to learn that particular combination of the above 4 languages, then I would be able to offer an opinion of what I think about you learning those 4 languages.

.

Do you see yourself using those languages in everyday life/work/etc. in the future? Or is this primarily for fun?

If I am learning a language for fun, I would like to focus on a language that can be generally applicable in my travels. Thus, for me, Welsh would be off the list, followed by Russian.

I love the Welsh language and the Welsh accent. Wales is my go to nature retreat in the UK but even I'm not motivated to learn the language past a few phrases.
One day I'll make it to Trelew in Argentina!

Learning 4 languages at once means you would never master any of the 4 unless you are a linguistic genius. Better do it one after another.

"Depends why" just because you're asking for an opinion - without enough background.

If it's for practical use while you travel the world, that's one thing.

If it's for self-enrichment and brain exercise - entirely different story.
