I grew up when rock music was popular in the United States. Nowadays, other kinds of music have become more popular among young people in this country.
So, I was wondering what countries are people really into rock music nowadays? Where would people be crazy about bands like Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Judas Priest, Rush, Van Halen, Guns’n Roses, etc.?
Not so much countries but cities. Even in Scandinavia electro has taken over. Rock is a dying genre unfortunately much like what happened to jazz in the 50's/60's.
Bogota is still very much a rock city, everything from Oi music to punk and brit-pop is listened to and there are still plenty of rock only clubs and pubs. The best modern rock bands from the region are produced there. Rock legends such as ex-Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham now call Bogotá their home. It's a UNESCO global city of music and has the largest Rock festival in Latin America, 'Rock al Parque'.
Diamante Electrico - Grammy for best Latin rock band 2 years in a row.

Rolling Stones magazine listed this iconic band as one of the most influential on the global rock scene and they're still going with Billie Eilish counting as a fan of one of their latest works, Duo.
One of the ways Rock has managed to be preserved in Colombia and especially Bogota among all generations is by fusing it with some of Colombia's over 1,000 local folk genres such as this Carranga-Rock fusion cover of System of a Down by Rolling Ruanas. Carranga is a folk genre from the Andean plateau.
I agree, not countries but cities. San Diego still has a rock following among young people but it's important to remember that it is not the same type of Rock. It's more punk bases rock, a lot of indie punk and non-mainstream stuff.
I wasn't around when most of those bands were in their prime.
I think you can find good acts in most major cities if you look around.
Rock is still very much alive as we saw with Tool dethroning Taylor Swift in the charts, though admittedly there are reasons for that.
In general, it appears that rock isn't quite as mainstream as it used to be, but there's a burgeoning underground scene with a passionate fanbase. You can find everything from prog rock to metal.
I don't know what "Very popular" means in this day and age, but I can tell you that there are kids / teenagers in this country who still like classic rock or metal bands even if they were born in the current century. I feel like streaming / youtube have made this music "timeless" and that there are always people discovering it. It used to be different.

I listened to AC/DC a lot back in elementary school. Later on, someone told me that they were Australian. I told him no way! Those people listen a kangaroo music down there! LOL

AC/DC is fun to listen to. They are the Australian equivalent of KISS.
I always had the impression that Rock was very big in Finland and Estonia, not sure if it still applies today.
