Yeah troll posts. Usually people who don't fit in, couldn't make it in the city or had to leave on bad terms love to crap on it .

Picked NA by a hair, the other comparison was more obviously Europe. Losing London and Paris is a huge blow, moreso than NY and LA, and while picking up Vienna and Amsterdam on the balance is about equal to Montreal and Boston.

In the original Europe top 6, it seemed you've got really good diverse representation of the continent. From a tourism/visiting perspective though, the European diversity might be a bit overrated this time around, just because they are from different countries. You've got Brussels and Amsterdam from the Benelux range, Berlin and Vienna aren't completely worlds apart either, and then of course Madrid and Moscow are quite different and very strong in their own regards. Montreal helps the NA group quite a bit with its Quebecois culture and Old Montreal architecture. Washington, San Francisco and Boston help round out the group to have four very distinct flavors of NA cities and cultures. Toronto and Chicago, two of the most overrated North American cities (at least, in terms of how interesting they are to a traveler) are kind of rumps and could be replaced by a wide range of options and it wouldn't really affect NA much.
