There are a lot of dated articles on the internet regarding Covid restrictions in various places. Can anyone comment on the current state of Covid lockdown / vaccine passports / mask mandates in Sweden?

I was hoping for something more up to date and accurate than a Wikipedia article...
It's stupidity like this:
"On 27 March the government announced that the ban on public gatherings would be lowered to include all gatherings of more than 50 people, to further decrease the spread of the infection, again at the request of the Public Health Agency.[147][148] The ban would apply to arts and entertainment events including theatre, cinema and concerts, religious meetings, demonstrations, lectures, competitive sports, amusement parks, fairs and markets. The ban did not include gatherings in schools, workplaces, public transport, grocery stores or shopping malls, health clubs or private events."
...or...
You must wear your mask in a restaurant if you stand up but not if you sit down.
That I am trying to avoid.
It seems as if the best way is to move somewhere where the government has not mandated, and the people are wise enough not to use, masks.
If you're trying to avoid it - try staying home. It's a contagious disease. Avoiding people is the best way to NOT spread it OR catch it. It also eliminates the mask problem.
Meantime, it was faster to find this information than to read the post:

Brazil?
President Jair Bolsonaro is going to court over the fact that some states have put in restrictions. If it's not overturned you still have many other states in Brazil to choose from.
Mind you on Friday they reported 90,570 new cases of Covid-19 and 2,815 deaths, plus hospitals are experiencing 95 percent occupancy in their intensive care wards.
They are of course heading towards a third wave, but I'm sure you will be fine, since as we all know, ones personal beliefs triumph science every time.

In that case you should either stay home alone or move to the moon where there are no other people and you can go maskless to your heart's content. Then people on earth won't have to worry about you wandering around in their midst while you think you're being so wise in not wearing a mask in public.

In places where masks rules are set and enforced people don't want to see those who don't want to obey. Keep in mind that the "wisdom" of those who don't want to wear masks where is required means nothing to them. Don't force yourself to those places or preach your beliefs. They aren't wanted or appreciated.

OP should be aware that currently the International Air Transport Association (IATA) requires face masks to be worn during air travel. Contact your airline to find out their rules about face masks.
Air travel to Sweden takes usually 8+ hrs, plus the time spent in airports.
That alone usually discourage anti-maskers.

Yes, in our state many of our remaining restrictions are being lifted in two hours time. Masks not mandatory on public transport. But, the only place we will be required by law to wear them is during air travel. I think some theatres and events are still requiring them when seated, the musical Hamilton opened in Sydney last night and I think the audience were wearing them during the show. But that is decided by the venue.
But you cannot come here anyway without enough reason to get a special exemption to enter. And you would have to wear a mask on the plane and then quarantine for fourteen days.
