Most countries have beautiful wedding locations whether in historic locations or outstanding areas of natural beauty.

As others have already pointed out, it's a matter of personal preference.

In the UK you can be married at St Paul's Cathedral, Westminister Abbey, St George's Chapel Windsor (where Prince Phlip's funeral was recently held), Kensington Palace, Hampton Court, Kew Palace, Blenheim Palace etc etc etc.

There are also locations such as the Painted Hall at Greenwich and Banqueting House, whilst the UK is littered with mansion houses and castles, which cater for weddings.

Furthermore historic Italian cities such as Rome and Florence are popular marriage locations, as are areas in the South of France, the Amalfi coast, Greece, Portugal, Spain and Mediterranean region as a whole.

I am also sure there are magnificent locations on every continent from the US to Central and South America to Europe to Africa Asia and Australia.

You certainly don't have to travel to the Maldives or Bora Bora for a beautiful wedding location.

After seeing the thread title, but before seeing your post/any of your links, my first thought was Positano.
