Some beautiful looking places on this thread! I live just north of the South Downs National Park (shown on the link BNW posted in post #7), I don't know for sure but I'm guessing the most famous national parks in the UK are the Scottish Highlands (usually in every film ever made about Scotland :-)) and the Lake District (I wandered lonely as a cloud!) :-) ?

Looking for this picture, however I believe this is the only place in the world where two world heritage listed nature reserves meet.

The Daintree Rainforest and part of the Great Barrier Reef.

At the moment it is the Burren in County Clare Ireland.There is the infamous Poulnabrone Dolmen and the Aillwee Caves.

There are so many National, Provincial and Regional Parks in Canada, that it's impossible to see all of them. I would like to see this when it happens.

This is in Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta.
