For example the sun is actually in the sky for 232.8 hours in Eastbourne in May and only 217.4 hours in Bordeaux in May!!

Its not THAT hard to understand!
Yeah amazing, and it manages to be cloudier at the same time ... wait! .... could it be that day length is longer in Eastbourne?

No more misleading!!

Yeah, that's the sort of logic I would expect from someone ardently defending a climate that just doesn't feel as sunny as another climate.

A similar tactic would be to post rainfall but ignore days of rain, in order to create the illusion of living in a "drier" climate.

Ho Ho! - you can have the "technical win".

Just no more ambiguous claims that deliberately muddy the waters please- the last thing the world needs, is more .... misinformation.

Thanks Joe, its not 'technical' though, its just a fact.

Lets be honest Joe when I first mentioned this fact (simply because I thought it would surprise the 'England is always cloudy' crowd and perhaps teach people something real instead of just leaving them to believe god-awful stereotypes) you thought you saw a chance to be a smart a*se about it right? Unfortunately you posted before thinking it through and you have spent dozens of posts trying to 'save face' a little no?

Trouble is you can't change the fact that Eastbourne gets more sunshine hours in total from the start of April to the end of August and the harder you try the more desperate you seem!

I only consider Climate A to be sunnier than climate B, if it is both sunnier, and less cloudy.

You use the old propagandist tool of ambiguousness to create the illusion that Eastbourne would feel sunnier than Bordeaux, when the opposite is true.

You posted a bunch of BS about rain by not making the claim in full context, and you tried the same tactic with sunshine by not putting the sunshine in full context.

I haven't posted ANY BS, go back, look for yourself, I said that between the beginning of April and the end of August Eastbourne has more hours of sunshine than Bordeaux - it does, the only BS since has been you trying desperately to save face after you 'thought' you would try and be 'clever' with me over it.

The old technical win - ya bowl underarm Easty, but a win is a win.

Although Bordeaux airport is sunnier.
