It's between NYC and London for me, but I'd probably choose NYC as it gets warmer than London on the hole. London has milder winters, which I appreciate, but looking at climate charts I wish the city's spring and summer months were warmer. Still, it's really a tossup.
Never been to London, but it is the only place I think could compete with NYC as my favorite city on earth. I would choose NYC with the caveat that I might change my mind when I spend some significant time in London someday.
I'm not interested in living in any big city, but of the four choices I would have to pick NY because I'm not up for emigrating at this point in life. Visiting abroad yes, by all means, but not living.
However, NYC would be quite low on my list of places to live in the US.
