In terms of urbanism, Curitiba really looks like an american city, with a CBD where most of the high rises are found, surrounded by extensive neighbourhoods looking much like the american suburbs, with large houses with enormous green lawns. But culturally, maybe not.

Shanghai feels like NYC and Tel Aviv feels like Manhattan. London also has a similar feel to NYC as well.

Dubai feels like Long Beach + Miami + Las Vegas with no casinos. Strong American influence in everything.

Trondheim Norway, and if it felt like that there, I'm sure Amsterdam is the same. Everyone spoke English. Anerican restaurants. American songs on the radio. American shows onTV
