Turkey is European country in the southeast Europe and southwest Asia by why does everyone have think its Asian Istanbul is largest city in Europe yet is never talked about as if it's Europe when people talk European cities they talk London , Paris , Rome , Berlin and Amsterdam never Istanbul despite that it is bigger than London and Paris.
U.K. Is a island separated from the European continent so why is included in Europe and not Turkey we are not in Europe anymore I mean the Eu Turkey even wants to join the eu.

IT is European but it more exotized than your normal European countries such as Uk ,France Germany ,Italy and Spain same with the Caucasus region even though we use word Caucasian to describe white people Caucasian the real Caucasians look different from your typical Europeans they more exotic locals say Caucasian women are beautiful since they are mixed same with the Turks both men and women are thought be exotized in Turkey because they don't look like us.

Only a tiny bit of Turkey was ever classed as European, whilst culturally it has more ties to the middle east and Islamic world.

Furthermore Erdogan is a nasty piece of work.

But Turkey is part of NATO and is going join the Eu now Israel going to join the European Union despite the fact that it's in Asia where is the Asian Union.
Turks did not behave like Muslims they drink, party and wear revealing clothes I could the same about rich Arabs though I saw Arab women across the street wearing tight clothing which showed their body Turks are too much like Greeks not like the rest the Middle East and Islamic world.

Turkey is not going to join the EU, and it also came close to being thrown out of NATO.

Istanbul and everything west of the Bosphorus is considered Europe, but east of it is culturally and geographically Middle Eastern. In fact even IST is more of a Middle Eastern city culturally. Further west is more similar to Greece in culture and history.

As BNW said, only a small part of Turkey actually falls under the definition of Europe. Unlike Russia, which has its culture firmly rooted in Europe, Turkey is viewed as part of the Islamic world. Cultural perception does play a role in defining regions. That’s why Cyprus is classified as a European country, while Turkey isn’t, despite it actually being right next door to Israel and Lebanon.

That depends on which part of turkey you are in, the center and west are very different to the coastal areas, or at least they were when I was their 16 years ago.

If there was no religious divide - either the Middle East remained all Christian or Europe had become all Muslim - there would be no divide between them. Armenia is further from 'Europe' than all of Turkey yet they are generally accepted as European. People in Spain tend to be darker complexioned than Scandinavians yet both are considered European. The local owner of the local Mediterranean restaurant here has reddish hair and fair skin, they're from Jordan.
